Monica Pacheco Silva, M.A.

Monica Pacheco is a Topoi doctoral fellow in the research group (C-5) Common Sense Geography. She did a Masters on the University of Hamburg with a major in Mesoamerican studies and minors in Ethnology and History of Art, having also prior studies on Archaeology in Mexico. Her research project entitled “The representation of space and place in Mesoamerica: The Lienzo Coixtlahuaca/Seler II in the Berlin Ethnology Museum” correlates the topographic and archaeological data with the geographical reality and the ethnohistorical sources.

Monica Pacheco also participates in the PhD program “Landscape Archaeology and Architecture” (LAA) at Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies (BerGSAS).
