Saskia Lingthaler read Mathematics and Classical Philology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. While studying she was working as a Student Assistant for various Institutes, such as the Institute for Numeric Mathematics, the Institute for Church History and the Institute for Ancient Greek Philology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In fall 2014 Saskia Lingthaler started a Doctoral Fellowship at Topoi and BerGSAS. Her guiding question is whether and in which form diagrams in ancient scientific treatises occured and how they where applied. Her researches are part of the program “History of Ancient Sciences” (HistAS) of the Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies (BerGSAS).
