Daniel Knitter is a doctoral fellow within the research group Systemic Analysis (A-I-21). His research focuses on human-environmental interactions in general and is more specifically concentrated in the fields of geomorphology and geomorphometry as well as (pre)historic landscape development under human influence. He received his M.Sc. in Geography at the Freie Universität Berlin in 2009 for his work “Archaeological Predictive Modeling of Prehistoric and Historic Settlement Locations in the Surroundings of the Late Ancient Imperial Palace Felix Romuliana”. |
