Since 1993, Klaus Hallof has served as director of the Inscriptiones Graecae project of the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften. Hallof is also Adjunct Professor of Epigraphy at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a member of the Deutsches Archäologisches Institut. He researches not only ancient epigraphy, but also inscriptions in Thurigia, especially in Jena.
