Due to the retirement of Prof. Dr. Matthias Köckert the project „The Herodian client kingdoms and the Roman governance in Iudaea“ of Prof. Dr. Ernst Baltrusch was incorporated into B-II-1 „Governance and governed Spaces“. In February 2011 the B-II-1-Workshop „Client Kings between Empire and Periphery“ was given at the TOPOI Building Dahlem, the Herodes Biography will be forthcoming in spring 2012.
