Saskia Nehls is a doctoral fellow at the Excellence Cluster Topoi in the research group (A-6) Economic Space. After obtaining a master degree in Egyptology in 2012, she worked as an assistant at the Ägyptisches Museum Berlin. While studying, she possessed several assistant positions, for example at Freie Universität Berlin, within excavational field works in Sudan and for the exhibition “Im Licht von Amarna-100 Jahre Fund der Nofretete”.
Her doctoral thesis is part of the program “Material Cultures and Object Studies” (MaCOS) by the Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies.
