Dimitrij Teslenko is Lecturer for Archaeology and Museology. He received his doctorate from the Institute of Archaeology by the National Academy of Science of Ukraine with a work entitled “The Pit-Grave Culture of the Dnepr Nadporizhzha and Right bank Pre-Steppe”. Until 2013 he holded the Chair for World History at Oles Honchar Dnepropetrovsk National University. Following this he started his habilitation at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. He gives lectures on European prehistory, contemporary historiography, history of International relations and the history of civilizations. During his research stay at Topoi he will continue the unfinished research of the research project (A-2-1) Pastorialism which is concerned with excavations at grave mounds in Dnepropetrovsk. He contributes to the project`s ongoing work by preparing a publication which will be published in Ucrainian.
