Stephanie Schabow is a theologian with a focus on apocalyptic literature. From 2008 to 2011 she has worked as a coordinator of the research area (B) Mechanisms of Control and Social Spaces. Furthermore, as a member of research group (B-III-2) Diversity of Spaces, she wrote a dissertation entitled “´And made them for our God a kingdom and priests.` The βασιλεία-/βασιλεύω-terminology in Rev 1:6; 5:10; 20:4,6; 22:5” which was published in 2016.
From 2013-2014, she worked as a research assistant at the Institut für Christentum und Antike, chair of Literatur-, Religions- und Zeitgeschichte des Urchristentums, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Since 2015 she has been working at the Institut für Neues Testament at Universität Hamburg.
