Patricia Rahemipour studied Prehistoric Archaeology, Philosophy and Classical Archaeology in Berlin, Bochum, Oslo and Münster. In 2009 she finished her doctoral thesis about “Archäologie im Scheinwerferlicht – Die Darstellung der Archäologischen WIssenschaften im Film bis 1930″. After her Magister in Bochum, she first worked in Leipzig and was responsible for public relations of the prehistoric institute. After that she worked on several projects for the DAI like a project about persian archaeological film, Die Skythenausstellung, and several cluster meetings. In 2008 she was responsible for coordination of the “Interdisziplinäres Zentrum Alte Welt” for the Freie Universität Berlin. In 2009 she was head of the Central Archive of the DAI. In 2010 Patricia Rahemipour started a project affiliated to the celebrations around the 50th anniversary of the iranian branch of the German Archaeological Institute with an associated exhibition in December 2011. In 2012, Ms. Rahemipour worked as a research advisor for Prof. Hansen in the Eurasia Department, where her responsibilities included preparation of the exhibition “Traces of the Menorah – Jewish Life in Antiquity”, which will open in Frankfurt in 2014. In addition to her work as a coordinator, she is currently employed as curator of the exhibition at the RGK Frankfurt.
