Ivo Popov, born in 1975, studied Ancient History and culture at the New Bulgarian University. He wrote his master’s thesis on “The mastered space – Faith and Ritual (Bronze Age in Bulgaria)”. The key issue of the paper was to shed light on problems related to the study of Bronze Age in Bulgaria and the characterization of burial complexes and settlements. Currently he is writing his doctoral thesis on the burial complexes of the Early Bronze Age in the Western Pontic Region.
