Olof Pedersén is professor of Assyriology at Uppsala University, Sweden. He has since many years been working together with Altorientalistik, Freie Universität Berlin and Vorderasiatisches Museum Berlin. He is interested in the integration of Ancient Near Eastern written documentation with archaeological and other evidence, including ancient archives and libraries, ancient cities, geography and environment.
