Birgit Nennstiel is a member of the management team of the Excellence Cluster in Topoi-Haus Mitte. She is the contact person for all questions regarding Topoi’s Corporate Design and Layout and supervises both the website and the newsletter Neotopia. In the academic realm, her focus is on archaeological building research: following graduation from an architectural study program, she entered the Monument Preservation Master’s Program at the TU Berlin, earning her degree in 2000 with a dissertation on the building history of Burg Nebra (Sachsen-Anhalt). At present, she is working on an architectural project involving reconstruction of provincial Roman wooden buildings.
