Dr. Oliver Nakoinz

Oliver Nakoinz is a pre-historian and research diver. He earned his Ph.D. in Kiel for a dissertation entitled “Studies of the Spatial Delimitation and Structuring of the Hunsrück-Eifel Culture”. Since then, he has worked repeatedly on archaeological monument preservation projects and was a member of the DFG’s Priority Programme 1171 “Early Centralisation and Urbanisation Processes”. At present, he is a lecturer at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, and is involved as a Senior Fellow in the research of Group A-I-21 “Systemic Analysis”.
