Andrzej Macialowicz is an archaeologist with research interests in the Pre-Roman Iron Age in central and northern Europe (Przeworsk-, Oksywie-, and the Jastorf Culture and LaTène Culture influences). He received his doctor’s degree in 2009 in humanities in the field of archaeology with the thesis “Kultura przeworska w młodszym okresie przedrzymskim w dorzeczu Wkry i Orzyca” at the University of Warsaw. Afterwards he had several employments in the Institute of Archaeology of the University of Warsaw as an assistant and lecturer. Furthermore he participated in many projects like “The Past Societies. Polish lands from the first evidence of human presence to the Early Middle Ages” from 2012 till 2017 as an author and co-author and from 2015 till 2018 in the project “Mazowsze Zachodnie w okresie przedrzymskim jako obszar dynamicznych przemian osadniczych i kulturowych” as an auxiliary promoter.
