Dr. Colin Guthrie King

Colin Guthrie King is assistant professor at the Department of Philosophy at Providence College. He studied Greek, Philosophy, and Political Theory at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin where he also earned his doctorate.

His research is focused on history of ancient philosophy and science, logic, metaphysics; theory of language and argument, philosophy of logic and science; social choice theory (in particular: theory of voting) and ethics and meta-ethics. The history of Aristotelianism in German philosophy and science in the 19th Century is a further ongoing research interest.
