Susanne Gödde is Professor of Religious Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. She studied Greek philology, German philology, and classical archaeology at the University of Münster, where she also earned her doctorate. After completing her doctorate, Susanne Gödde received a Lise-Meitner scholarship for her habilitation project. She habilitated with the book “Euphemia. Die gute Rede in Kult und Literatur der griechischen Antike”, for which she was awarded the Heidelberger Förderpreis für klassisch-philologische Theoriebildung.
