Theres Fuhrer is a professor of classical studies (Latin philology) at the Freie Universität Berlin. Her work focuses on the Latin poets (Catullus, Augustinian poets) as well as Hellenistic, Roman and Christian philosophy (Cicero, Seneca, Augustine). In Topoi, she is the spokeswoman for research group C-IV “Ancient City Spaces. Conceptions of urban space in literature, architecture and art” and acting member of the board of Topoi.
