Barbara Feller is a Near-Eastern archaeologist and research associate at the Near Eastern Museum of the State Museums of Berlin.
In Research Group CSG-IV “Museums” Barbara Feller is in charge of a research project which focuses on the interface between exhibition concepts and the principal concepts of space in cultural history, as well as its material objects of knowledge. The program is divided into two subprojects and combines research on reception history and the implementation of museums as places of mediation (“space in space”) with research on the historic core complexes of the museums’ inventories, while taking into account innovative approaches to research (“objects in space”).
