Mario Bührmann is research assistant at the Institute for the Scientific Study of Religion at the Freie Universität Berlin and an associated member of the TOPOI-Research Group Acts (C-III) “Sacred Spaces – Sacred Landscapes”. His research interests include theories of ritual, anthropology of religion and history of science.
