Cyril Brosch studied Indo-European linguistics and orientalistics in Würzburg and Berlin and interlinguistics in Poznań in the years 2002–2008. Between 2008 and 2011 he worked on his PhD thesis at the Excellence Cluster Topoi, Berlin. From 2011 to 2013 he was assistant at the institutes for Indo-European linguistics in Würzburg and in Marburg and in 2013 senior fellow at Topoi. His specialisations are the Indo-European languages of Anatolia, cognitive linguistics and planned languages. Since 2014 he has been researcher at Universität Leipzig within the EU-funded research project “Mobility and Inclusion in a multilingual Europe”.
