William G. Boltz is Professor at the Department of Asian Languages and Literature at the University of Washington. In conjunction with Group E-II “Space as Transformed in the History of Science”, he is working as a Senior Fellow on the theoretical spatial concepts of ancient China. His goal is a joint publication on the subject of “The Later Mohist Canon: textual representation of spatial and mechanical knowledge in pre-imperial China”. |
