Andrej Belinskij is founder and head of the Institute for Preventive Archaeology and Cultural Heritage “Nasledie”
in Stavropol, Russia. Since 2012 he has carried out investigations in the region of North Caucasus in cooperation with research project (B-2-4) Scythian Tombs. Focus of the collaborative work are on geophysical surveys, excavations of the Scythian large-scale kurgans and scientific exchange.
Andrej Belinskijs research interests are on archaeological heritage management, remote sensing, geoarchaeology, architecture of Scythian large-scale kurgans and the relationship between the regions of the North Caucasus, the Near East and Greek colonies of the Black Sea region during Early Iron Age.
