William Adler is Distinguished Professor of Early Judaism and Christianity and Director of Religious Studies at North Carolina State University (Raleigh, NC), as well as being a member of the North Carolina State Academy of Outstanding Teachers, and an Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Professor. He holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Divinity from Yale University, and a BA from Franklin and Marshall University. He specializes in early Judaism and Christianity, with research interests in Jewish and Christian historiography, primarily in Greek.
