The members of the Forum bring skills and expertise in archaeogeophysical prospecting to the interdisciplinary research projects of TOPOI. The activities include expert advice, geophysical survey, data processing and interpretation, as well as training courses. For practical fieldwork we use resources and state-of-the art geophysical instruments from geoscientific institutes and our cooperating partner. Mainly geomagnetics, geoelectrics, ground-penetrating radar and micro-gravimetry are used for geophysical prospecting in archaeological field projects in Germany and abroad.
